Speak up and speak out! essentially provides an environment in which open and transparent communication is both valued and actively encouraged. We want to create individuals and our communities to feel safe raising their concerns, voicing their ideas, and providing feedback. All while keeping trust and respect intact. Speak up and speak out improves transparency and accountability. Amplifies a broader range of perspective. This can lead to more equitable practices as concerns are heard and given value, reduce biases, and increase representation of marginalized groups within the organization. Our communities will feel more respected, empowered, supported, motivated, and it leads to increased productivity for the betterment. We are a platform for many voices who have been silenced! We are bringing Hope awareness to communities to inform them that they have a voice and a safe place to engage their concerns. We are aggressively targeting “Human Trafficking”, “Domestic Abuse”, and “Child abduction”

THE LIGHT OF THE ISLANDS

Transformation of the Waiʻanae Coast

The Waiʻanae Coast has long been considered a sacred gateway to the afterlife in Hawaiian culture. In this belief system, powerful spiritual beings known as ʻAumākua evaluate souls based on their righteousness (pono) and sinfulness (hewa). Those deemed worthy receive access to Laniakea, the afterlife, while others must demonstrate their alignment with the principles of pono and aloha before entering the heavenly realms.

Today, the people of Waiʻanae face significant challenges, echoing the struggles depicted in ancient Hawaiian legends (moʻolelo). Limited resources and a disconnect from traditional culture hinder individuals from achieving self-love and living in accordance with pono and aloha, aligning their intentions with God’s true path. These issues, compounded by trauma and tragedy, obstruct efforts to inspire positive change and develop strong leadership that empowers youth to become role models within the community.

We Support all of Hawaiʻi with a focus on the Waiʻanae Coast (Makakilo, Nānākuli, Māʻili, Waiʻanae, Mākaha)

Only togeather can we create change

Transformation of the Waiʻanae Coast

Currently, Waiʻanae struggles with high crime rates and homelessness, compounded by a substantial Native Hawaiian population. This difficult situation presents an opportunity to transform lives by harnessing the power of aloha and self-love—tackling drug addiction, crime, sex trafficking, and other critical issues that affect our beautiful community, nestled between treasured white sand beaches and majestic mountains. Together, we can shift the narrative of Waiʻanae Coast from the #1 place of tragedy to the #1 success story. We aim to shine brightly as a leading example of how God’s aloha-infused leadership can revitalize lives and bring purpose to those seeking a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their neighbors.

Project Nehemiah is dedicated to creating lasting change and fostering a secure and empowered community on the Waiʻanae Coast. Through collaboration, direct engagement, and active participation in relevant forums, we address pressing issues such as homelessness, the abduction of missing children, human trafficking, youth substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental illness.

Join us in our mission to uplift the Waiʻanae Coast community and reclaim its legacy of strength, resilience, and love.
